Padang Galak Beach

This beach is a venue for an international kite festival held every July. Each village (banjar) in Bali sends some of its men to represent it in this festival and fly a gigantic kite in the shape of a fish in addition to their own kites. It is also part of the Balinese belief to plead for harvest abundance from their gods.
