Sangeh Monkey Forest

Sangeh, located 20 km from Denpasar, a nature conservation forest for Nutmeg trees cover-ing 14 hectares in size and is occupied by thousands of relatively tame monkeys. Sangeh is the largest monkey forest and the first tourist attraction introduced to tourists in Bali. In the forest, there exists a temple called Pura Bukit Sari built by the Mengwi kingdom and is now looked after by the people of Sangeh traditional village.
