Taman Ayun Temple

Taman (meaning Park) Ayun Temple is lo-cated in Mengwi Village about 19 km from Denpasar. Taman Ayun (Temple) is a resting and recreation park and the place where family of Mengwi kingdom pray, which was built in 1634 by I Gusti Agung Ngurah Made Agung, the king who ruled at that time. The temple is beautiful with magnificent building structure and multi-storey roof built in Balinese architecture. The wonderful wide landscaped garden has a front courtyard to welcome visitors who come and visit this temple. It is certainly a lovely place to include in your itinerary when you have your holiday in Bali.
