Beratan Lake

Beratan Lake is located in Bedugul, Baturiti sub district, Tabanan, about 50 km from Denpasar. The terrific scenery around the lake, the beautiful green hill and the fresh air make this lake a favourite tourist attraction to the local people and tourists alike. In the middle of the lake stands the Ulun Danu (Beratan) Temple. Danu is the name of the fer-tility Goddess. Boats for rent are available for tourists who wish to paddle around and enjoy the beauty of this lake.
