Dhurga Kutri Temple

This temple is located on a forested hill that belongs to Buruan Village, Kutri, Blahbatu sub district whose natural beauty is preserved. In one of its temples stands the image of the goddess Dhurga which symbolizes the con-sort of King Udayana who ruled Bali in the 11th century. The existing temples and their exotic statues/ bas-reliefs are the remains of kingdoms the 11th century. To get to one of the three existing temples you have to walk up tens of steps made of stone. The view from the top of the temple is magnificent with vast rice fields stretching below and a beach at a distance.
