Pura Tirta Empul

This temple is located in Tampak Siring and is also called Pura Tampak Siring. It is called Tirta (meaning water) Empul because in this temple holy water comes out of the ground (empul). The temple is wonderfully embel-lished with tens of water fountains coming out of stone. Some of the fountains are used by local people to purify themselves from negative things.
